Von Der Pool Gourmet & Healthy Living Services, Inc. is a green non-profit organization that focuses on healthy living services and eco-awareness through recycling and agriculture. Von Der Pool Gourmet brings healthy living to bring light on healthcare issues globally such as obesity issues, HIV/AIDS, diabetes etc. The cornerstone of our mission is to lighten our carbon foot print so that we can preserve our planet and all its inhabitants. We feel that it is important to raise the consciousness of humanity on this matter that is at hand.

Von Deer Pool Gourmet & Healthy Living Services Inc. has partnered with other green corporations and businesses such as Bascom Enterprise, Java Green, The Sierra Club, The Hip Hop Caucus, Green The Block, Root Inc., Blooms Bar, John Salley Foods, Carbon Free DC, Extreme Green Makeover, Karyn’s Fresh Corner, Soul Vegetarian, Everlasting Life and Art of Living to manifest our vision of a healthy, happy experience for humans on our planet, Mother Earth. Von Der Pool Gourmet travels globally to offer fun, fabulous and educational, healthy living workshops, food demonstrations, green job training, neighborhood beautification, tree planting initiatives, recycling and composting classes. Von Der Pool is currently implementing these programs into statistically obese Wards in DC, such as Ballou Senior High, Roosevelt Senior High, Coolidge Senior High, Hart Middle School and Anacostia. We believe that we can have a great impact if we work together to make things happen. At the end of the program students are given an A-list celebrity style, Green Oscar Awards ceremony and celebration as a reward for their dedication and openness to learn something new.

Von Der Pool Gourmet & Healthy Living Services Inc. a D.C. based company was founded by philanthropist, Le Cordon Bleu Graduate and apprentice to Wolfgang Puck, celebrity Chef Lauren Von Der Pool. Von Der Pool began her journey into natural, holistic living at the tender age of 16 after being stabbed in her head in a fight. Von Der Pool used this tragedy as a catalyst her into a passion for life, raw foods and healthy living. Lauren began teaching and selling raw pies, tarts, salads, exotic juices etc. in front of Howard University, Georgetown University, American and George Washington University shortly after the stabbing.


This company was birthed from a young girl from the inner city of our Nations Capitol. Von Der Pool has ventured to the World’s Famous Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Paris, Jamaica, Miami, Guyana, Chicago and many other places around the globe to cater the Oscars, Grammy’s, American Music Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards and many other private A-list celebrity events. “Catering these events would mean nothing if I could not pay it forward to my community at home and abroad.”
